All doorset materials and construction, including glazed openings and ironmongery, are fully tested for fire resistance. Every product in Laidlaw's range is compliant with current fire, smoke and acoustic ratings for all building types, greatly reducing the risk of fire and smoke barrier failure, which can happen much more readily with uncoordinated doorset components.

Easy installation

Products arrive securely wrapped for protection and are easily transportable. Installation is straightforward and fast, reducing the skill resources required at the site. Non-projecting ironmongery including lock case, hinges and flush bolts are factory fitted and the door is face drilled, ensuring correct installation of lever spindles which considerably reduces on-site work. Because all locks and glazing are already fitted, all the joiner has to do is hang doors and fix the pre-packed ironmongery sets. Saving up to 40 per cent installation time and eliminating errors.

Any products outside of our Orbis branded Timber Doorset offering will be subject to a 12 month guarantee. They meet today's stringent building standards, and achieve ISO 9001: 2000 accreditation. They are fully compliant with HTM 58 and HTM 59, as well as meeting Document M visibility zone regulations.
