Hinges

Applications

Hinges 102 x 76mm are suitable for doors with a minimum thickness of 35mm.
Hinges 102 x 120mm are suitable for doors with minimum thickness of 44mm.
Radiused corner hinges are generally recommended for machine prepared doors and frames.

Fire door applications

When used on a fire door, intumescent packs need to be specified
IP H1 - to suit 76 x 102mm hinges
IP H2 - to suit 102 x 102mm hinges
For 30 min. fire door applications specify 1 pack per pair and a half of hinges
For 60 min. fire door applications specify 2 packs per pair and a half of hinges.

Specification Advice

Concealed bearing hinges are suitable for all types of internal and external applications.
Doors up to 2250mm high require 3 hinges per leaf.
Doors over 2250mm high require 4 hinges per leaf.
