An integrated series of modular euro profile cylinder mortice lockcases designed to meet the requirements of BS EN 12209

• Precision manufactured slimline case with 6 function variants
• Modular design allows interchangeability of lock models
• Meets the requirements of BS EN12209 and with the dimensional characteristics of DIN18251
• All variants have 60mm backset & 72/78mm centres
• Patented spring clip follower retains the lever spindle for a firm positive assembly
• Bolt through fixings at lever and cylinder positions
• 20mm double throw deadbolt
• Quick reversible latchbolt without opening the lockcase
• Springing suitable for unsprung lever furniture
• Cylinder operates deadbolt and latchbolt
• 2 part forend in grade 304 stainless steel with matching strike plate
• Radiused or square forend styles
• Meets BS 8300 dimensional recommendations making it suitable for DDA applications

Specification advice

Escape sashlocks 11 862 & 11 862R have split followers and require the use of lever handles with split spindles. Please specify suitable spindle.

We recommend escape sashlocks locks are operated with single or double cylinders only for optimum operation and not a cylinder & thumbturn.

When used on fire doors, intumescent packs need to be specified
IP L1 - For all Orbis Commercial European style lockcases

For 30 min fire door applications specify 1 pack per lockcase.
For 60 min fire door applications specify 2 packs per lockcase.
