Orbis Integra Doorsets - Installation & Features
The construction and patented assembly of the Orbis Integra Doorset can cut installation times by as much as 75%.
Patented construction
The frame system requires no time consuming preassembly. Simply by slotting together the interlocking frame sections around the wall, the frame is held in place permanently by a series of patented internal clamps which lock the frame around the wall structure.
Speed and accuracy of installation
Products arrive on site securely wrapped and with corner protection and are easily transportable. Installation is normally carried out entirely as a second fix operation, thereby substantially eliminating the risk of damage to doors and frames. Installing a doorset in the traditional way is a time consuming activity. Orbis Integra doorsets utilise a unique, patented system of fixing which effectively clamps around the wall structure to provide a rigid assembly with no visible fixings.
The Orbis Integra steel frame is supplied in separate sections which click together during installation. Internal clamps within the frame are then tightened with a socket wrench locking the complete assembly into the wall. Lift-off hinges are factory fitted to the frame which allows the door to be simply slotted into place, requiring only the last minute assembly of the furniture. This rapid installation process makes the Orbis Integra doorset a highly economical and practical solution and produces a consistently high quality finished installation.
Safety features
All doorset materials and construction, including glazed openings and ironmongery, are fully tested for fire resistance. Every product in Laidlaw's range is compliant with current fire, smoke and acoustic ratings for all building types. This greatly reduces the risk of fire and smoke barrier failure which can happen much more readily with unco-ordinated doorset components.
