Floor Springs

A series of floor springs is available offering a high level of sophisticated door control specifically for high traffic locations. The range includes a wide selection of accessories to suit timber, metal and glass doors.

Electromagnetic Option

Electromagnetic hold-open and free-swing versions are available. When connected to the building fire alarm/detection system, the door can be allowed to swing free or be held open in high traffic locations. On activation of the fire/smoke detection system the electromagnet will be deactivated and the door will close under normal spring power. The hold open position is adjustable between 75˚ and 180˚. Electromagnetic versions conform to EN 1155. Complete with plug connector for 24V supply.

Power size *

With the exception of the 30 764 model, the Orbis floorsprings are fixed power units and must be ordered to suit each application. Use the product reference from the chart above according to the power size required.

For example, a 30 863/DA is power size 3; a 30 864/DA is power size 4; and 30 866/DA is power size 6.

Accessories

A wide range of accessories is available for use with the Orbis range of floorsprings. The selection of appropriate accessories relates to the type of door and the use of single action or double action doors.
