Laidlaw Scotland’s – £1.3 Million Doorsets Success
Laidlaw Scotland has recently had success with securing both Strathcathro and Murray Royal Hospital’s Timber Doors order worth over £1.3 Million. The architect chose a combination of Laminated and painted doorsets with Anti Ligature and anti barricade ironmongery and a small amount of Centurion ironmongery.
The inpatient facilities provided will be for NHS Tayside General Adult Psychiatry, Psychiatry of Old Age, Low Secure Care Services and a new regional Medium Secure Service located in Perth & Brechin for the North of Scotland Planning Group. In total, 183 bed spaces will be created at Murray Royal Hospital, with an additional 52 at Stracathro Hospital.
Ian walker Director of Scotland is delighted to have secured the largest project for the Scottish business.
This is fantastic news for the Laidlaw Scotland Team we have been working very hard on securing the project for the last 18 months. With our pre-factory fitted Orbis Anti Ligature Ironmongery which gives ease of installation to the sub contractor and a 10 year guarantee to client. As this is the largest project we have secured in Scotland we decided to appoint Greg Menzies from our Perth branch to work closely with Morgan Sindall, JJC and both architects to achieve the clients overall objectives.
