Carnegie Leisure Centre
The £18.3 million refurbishment and extension of the Carnegie Leisure Centre involved a complete strip out to the bare shell of a building originally opened in 1905. Working with Fife Council Asset and Facilities Management Services and main contractor Barr Construction, Laidlaw Solutions supplied 146 laminate-faced and postformed laminate Orbis Timber doorsets. .

Child And Adolescent Mental Health Services
Laidlaw’s Orbis Anti-ligature range of stainless steel door furniture has been used for both external and internal doors at the £27M Ferndene Children and Young People's Centre in Prudhoe. It is another specialist healthcare project in which Laidlaw has worked alongside Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, specialist architects Medical Architecture and main contractor Laing O’Rourke. .

Iconic Midlands primaryschool
The latest education project for which Laidlaw door furniture has been specified is the £5.5M Christ Church C of E Primary School in Walsall. Ironmongery from the Orbis Classic range was selected for use in what has been described as an iconic and innovative building which is the first circular structure to be built in Walsall. It is also another project in which Laidlaw has worked alongside main contractor Willmott Dixon..

Iconic Arup Building
Laidlaw Interiors ironmongery from the Orbis Commercial range has been used in the refurbishment and extension of Scotstoun House, home of Arup Scotland in South Queensferry since it was built in 1962. Working with Historic Scotland, the fabric of the structure has been extensively remodeled by haa design whilst the building’s essential nature as a pavilion in a park has been preserved..

Group Presence at Big 5 - Dubai.
Laidlaw Interiors were flying the Group flag for the first time since inception at the Big 5 Construction Exhibition held at the Dubai World Trade Centre in November 2011. Unlike the previous 2 years, Laidlaw Interiors were also on a much bigger stand of 15sqm signifying the importance of having a group-wide presence.

Willenhall based Laidlaw Solutions Ltd, backed by leading private equity group Rutland Partners, has acquired SIG PLC’s Interiors Manufacturing Division (SIGIM) in a deal which gives the combined companies a turnover of around £130 million.
